August marked a major milestone for Australian pro audio manufacturer Quest, with a launch event highlighting a host of new product announcements, alongside an updated brand identity.

Held at the Group Technologies Training and Demonstration facility, the home of Quest’s Australian distributor, the Melbourne-based event saw a selection of local and interstate installers, integrators and operators get up close and personal with all-new Quest technologies. Featuring both an informal catered showcase segment, and a structured presentation with live demonstrations, the gathering reflected the ceremonial atmosphere of a landmark debut.

Key reveals from the event include Quest’s new Qi Series, an advanced line of timber cabinets designed for permanent installation audio, as well as a reimagined MX Series, the evolution of Quest’s weatherproof systems for commercial and hospitality applications. With plenty of attention also devoted to amplifiers, Quest revealed the QXD Series, a range of cutting-edge 4-channel power amps with DSP and Network capabilities.

When combined with a broad assortment of accessories, the true scope of Quest’s new offerings became clear, featuring five variants in the QXD Series and a notable ten models within the Qi Series- including two weatherproof models in the most commonly deployed sizes of 8” and 12”. Two compact companion subwoofer models, a 12” and an 18” were also revealed.

Minimal, architecture-friendly aesthetics and installer-centric designs were at the forefront of the showcase, as Quest reinforced its commitment to products engineered for effortless integration. A new website, launched seamlessly whilst patrons sat for the presentation, was also introduced, alongside the announcement of future projects and a revitalized emphasis on coverage and marketing.

Standing as a celebration of both heritage and forward momentum, the launch event guided guests through the legacy of the brand whilst introducing its future- unveiling a new logo and visual cues that represent Quest’s renewed vision and the people behind it.
