Newly inaugurated in 2025, Arena Katowice stands as a premier sports and cultural venue in Poland’s Katowice, the capital city of the Silesian Voivodeship. Accommodating 15,048 spectators, the venue includes a sports and entertainment hall with a 3,000-seat capacity, two heated training pitches, and a 500-space parking area. The facility serves as the new home of Polish professional football club GKS Katowice, and reaches the highest requirements in the UEFA stadium categories, enabling them to host all major tournaments.
To complement its modern architecture, Arena Katowice required an advanced sound system to ensure high-quality audio coverage for both sports and cultural events. The stadium’s sound system features RCF P 6215 two-way loudspeakers for the stands and P 3115T models for the pitch, both designed for high output and weather resistance. In the sports hall, RCF S 15 subwoofers and COMPACT M12 two-way loudspeakers provide comprehensive audio coverage.
The infrastructure of the system is based on three rack cabinets, which contain RCF QPS 6.0K power amplifiers, as well as LAN network devices responsible for managing the entire installation and transmitting audio signals over Dante protocol.
