Completely integrated into it’s harbor environment, the Marina Event Center in Ayia Napa, Cyprus, stands as the focal point of the town’s waterfront. Prominently located on the south-eastern end of the Commercial district, this conical glass building has become a destination venue and a one-of-a-kind architectural marvel in Cyprus, designed for both open-air and indoor events. Its distinctive vertical sunshades create a layered, sculptural façade by day and transform the building into a glowing landmark by night.
Provides an ideal setting for parties, weddings, corporate functions, concerts, and special events, the ultra-modern structure- along with the plaza leading up to it- has been fully equipped with the latest audio, video, and lighting technology, including a recently installed sound system from RCF.
After a detailed analysis of the venue’s acoustics and operational requirements, RCF’s Cypriot distributor installed a flexible solution capable of covering the entire elliptical interior. The installation features 6 x RCF NXL 44-A active line source columns, which can be setup to operate in both lengthwise or sideways configurations based on application. Offering pristine mid-high coverage, the NXL systems are paired with 2 x RCF SUB 8006-AS subwoofers, ensuring powerful, controlled low frequencies throughout the space.
For on-stage monitoring, 3 x RCF ART Series 15” active monitors provide accurate reference for performers, managed through an RCF M 20X digital mixer. This system design allows seamless reconfiguration for any type of event, offering consistent, high-quality sound throughout the venue.
