RCF have announced the KXM active monitor series, new high-output stage monitoring systems designed around tour-ready features, internal presets, and RDNet network control. The KXM 20-A delivers 90 x 70-degree constant-directivity coverage in a symmetrical dual 8-inch neodymium driver configuration, delivering a max SPL of 131 dB. The KXM 25-A steps up to a max 137 dB SPL, offering a 60 x 60-degree coverage pattern with a 15-inch neodymium coaxial driver architecture.

The KXM monitor series features high-output, two-way active stage monitors designed for rapid deployment and consistent performance in demanding live environments. Engineered to deliver an exceptionally precise monitoring field and controlled off-axis response, KXM monitors utilize a symmetrical transducer layout to ensure uniform tonal balance across the listening area. Neodymium woofers working in tandem with 2.5″ neodymium coaxial compression drivers provide substantial headroom, fast transient response, articulate vocal reproduction and focused projection.
Integrated DSP processing with FiRPHASE enhances phase coherence and intelligibility across real-world stage conditions, while onboard RDNet networking supports centralized monitoring and remote system control for streamlined workflows. When required, the same controlled directivity characteristics also allow KXM monitoring systems to operate as pole-mounted point-source solutions for standalone FOH or fill duties. For reliable power distribution, including outdoor environments, the series employs powerCON TRUE1 TOP locking mains connectors for power input and link-through capability.

The KXM 20-A and KXM 25-A are housed in reinforced wooden enclosures, engineered for stable acoustic performance at high output levels and durability during transport. Internal bracing systems minimize cabinet resonance and unwanted vibration, preserving clarity during high load operations. A heavy-duty powder-coated steel grille protects the transducers, while an internal foam layer helps limit dust ingress during daily use. The low-profile wedge geometry and robust hardware are optimized for professional touring environments, supporting repeated load-ins, rapid stage changeovers, and dependable operation under mechanical stress.
