Brand Manager (Sound Devices – RF)

Reporting directly to the GM, you will be responsible for managing Sound Devices, a leading RF brand currently disrupting the international wireless industry. You will act as the key person for the brand, while driving sales in all relevant markets from a strategic and operational perspective.

Two main components make up the role:

Brand Management

  • Single point of contact for Sound Devices in Australia
  • Brand ambassador
  • Procurement forecasting
  • Strategic marketing
  • Managing the customer experience
  • Maintaining communication and relationships with manufacturers
  • Overseeing brand support and service processes
  • High level management of the dealer\user network
  • Assisting the sales team with promotions
  • RF training of all kinds
  • Working with the sales team to educate on products and opportunities

Sales

  • Visiting national dealers and users as required (physical and virtual)
  • Develop and report on sales pipeline
  • Account management for key customers
  • Promote product training and education
  • Overseas trips as required

GT is looking for an experienced customer service coordinator to support the sales and admin teams with after-sales, warranty, service, and spares enquiries. We are looking for an individual who thrives on providing exceptional service, taking responsibility, and works well in a varied and dynamic role.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Manage a variety of service-oriented customer enquiries (phone, email, web)
  • Managing all spare parts and spare part sales
  • Coordinating warranty\non-warranty requests and support tickets
  • Solve pre and post-sale customer issues\queries
  • Maintain a spares stocking\inventory list for the procurement team
  • Assist in auditing parts lists and data integrity checks
  • Work with admin on general overflow tasks across multiple parts of the business
  • Coordinate parts for manufacturing and assembly of in-house products
  • Assist sales reps on the road with whatever they require to drive business
  • Any other tasks or duties as directed by management

The role would be full time role, Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm.

Business Development Manager (Commercial & Professional Audio) – Multiple Positions in Several Territories

We are looking for an experienced sales professional to join our growing Commercial & Professional Audio team.

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the Business Development Manager (Commercial & Professional Audio) will work across Performance Theatres, Live Event Venues, Hospitality, House of Worship, Corporate and more, responsible for managing and maintaining new and existing relationships, identifying new project opportunities, and driving sales in commercial and professional audio throughout their region.

The Scope of this Role includes:

  • Engage with end users to activate and create market demand across GT’s range of commercial and professional audio products (upgrades & new projects).
  • Identify and develop new business within the construction industry and Systems Integration partners (tender / design & construct opportunities).
  • Develop and maintain customer accounts across Audio Visual Systems Integrators, Consultants and End User Clients.
  • Be the main sales contact for all commercial/pro audio project enquiries and opportunities within their region.
  • Meet with consultants to discuss brands and work towards product specifications.
  • Specify, design, prepare and submit quotations & tender responses for commercial and professional audio systems\solutions.
  • Manage end to end sales pipeline, forecasting and close sales.
  • Assist the marketing team with press opportunities & product training / seminars.
  • Attend regular dinners/events/trade shows to assist the growth of GT, its customer base, and its portfolio of brands.

Key Experience and Skills:

  • An experienced (6+ years), dynamic salesperson who has worked within the Audio Visual industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation, confident to engage at all levels (client representative, team leader, manager and C-Level).
  • Someone with great work ethic, lots of energy and a desire to grow sales with the Commercial and Professional audio market.
  • An individual with an extensive Audio Visual partner network who is eager to further their career within a business offering unlimited growth potential.
  • The role requires some interstate travel and 1-2 overseas trips per year.

We are looking for an experienced store person to join our small warehouse team.

Role Overview

Reporting to the General Manager, you will work in a process driven warehouse, responsible for facilitating daily logistics of goods to and from HQ. You will be driven by having great attention to detail, taking pride in the tidiness of the warehouse, and providing excellent customer service.  You will be motivated to constantly make the warehouse better.

We are a tight knit dynamic team and while you will be taught processes, the rules can change. The ideal candidate will be independent, loyal and reliable. Someone ready to take ownership and build sound processes. If you don’t like being organised and working a fast-paced environment, this is not the role for you.

The Scope of this Role includes:

  • Maintaining, owning and running a clean, organised warehouse
  • Overseeing\delegating tasks to the storeman
  • Picking and packing with high accuracy and within designated deadlines
  • Managing inbound goods
  • Ensuring inventory movements and inventory integrity are maintained.
  • Handling products with care always
  • Performing stocktakes as directed
  • Process all admin, reports, receipts, and paperwork efficiently, accurately and quickly
  • Update customers and sales reps with arrival/departure times of deliveries
  • Coordinating the supply of goods to internal and external customers
  • Learning and understanding export practices and carrying out export orders
  • Assembling certain products\kits
  • Reporting all issues to management stakeholders
  • Working to achieve KPIs (TBD)
  • Any other duties as required

Core Competencies:

  • Hardworking with good listening skills to identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
  • Highly organised, able to work unsupervised efficiently
  • Professional phone manner, good energy, and an enthusiasm to learn

Essentials:

  • Forklift license
  • Drivers license

Advantageous but not Essential:

  • Experience with RF-Smart Inventory Management system
  • Experience with NetSuite software
