As the NRL season draws to an exciting climax, the Vodafone Warriors gathered at the Sky City Convention Centre for their annual awards night.
Production for the event was provided by Mirage Audio Visual Ltd with Sound Partners engaged to provide audio for the event.
Using a Nexo S8 tangent Array system to cover the room, supplemented by PS10s and S2 subs the PA delivered clear, natural sounding vocals from the lectern, as well as warm harmonies from special guest Tiki Tane (ex Salmonella Dub, now top selling solo artist).
Front of house duties were covered by the Digico D1 Live system.
It was a breeze to run both the front of house and monitor sends, as well as the inevitable last minute media feeds from the one surface.
The audio clarity was matched by a 30m x 5m watchout blended video backdrop utilizing 3 x FLMR20+ (20,000lumen) Barco projectors running multi layered media developed in-house by the Mirage graphics company Lithium Media.
The lighting plot consisted of 70 MX10 moving lights controlled via the Grand MA.
The comment from the Warriors’ camp was that they didn’t think that last years show could be topped until they walked in this year they were instantly blown away with the setting and sat back and experienced the power and clarity of audio and visual provided by NZ’s leading AV innovators.
