The Italian propeller heads at RCF have been at it again, this year releasing a bunch of new product at Frankfurt 2013 which is looking to fill a few interesting gaps in the market.

The extremely popular D LINE now has a baby brother in the line array end which is definitely going to have eyebrows raised. The new HDL-10A is a 2 x 8″ woofer system with a 2.5″ voice coil, complete DSP section and a wooden reinforced composite PP enclosure.
The complete range of tour grade rigging mechanics makes this a really impressive compact line array system all round.
In the powered box end of the D LINE range, the HD 32-A has made an appearance. A monster 700W RMS box comprised of a 12″ RCF precision woofer coupled with a 3″ titanium HF driver.
The HD 32-A has been designed to match the new SUB 8004-AS perfectly also making the pair an extremely powerful PA. The new single 18″ sub delivers an impressive 1250W RMS, and a healthy 30-120 Hz frequency response. There is a complete DSP controlled input section complete with time delay controls.
The chaps at RCF have also released another new array speaker, this time in an active column format. The NXL 24-A is made up of 4 x 6″ high output woofers and a 2.5″ voice coil with a fixed dispersion of 100° x 30° thanks to RCF’s constant directivity horn technology. This incredible speaker delivers 700W RMS output and a 65Hz – 20kHz frequency response. The rigging accessories available for the NXL 24-A allow for two units to be mounted vertically either completely flush or tilted for increased coverage. A pair of NXL 24-A’s can also be mounted directly onto a SUB 8004-A by utilising the available stacking kit.
Incredibly, RCF also had time to develop a new 4″ version of their great new Ayra series of studio monitors. The 4″ Ayra will prove perfect for multimedia and post studios looking for no nonsense compact reference speakers. We are certainly excited about those, destined for Q4 this year.

There is plenty more to come from RCF this year too with new amplifiers and an entire range of new commercial audio solutions. Watch this space for more on the new product offerings from RCF for 2013.
