RCF has extended its popular HDL line array range, with the release of the HDL 26-A and HDL 50-A 4K.
HDL26-A
RCF HDL26-A is an ultra-compact bi-amped two-way active touring system that occupies the same footprint as the popular HDL 6-A. The unit’s advanced transducer design coupled with a 2000W Class-D amplifier lends the HDL26-A an extended bottom-end along with pristine sonic quality. Suitable for a wide range of applications, either alone or in a line-array configuration, the HD26-A is designed with small and medium-sized events in mind, both indoors and outdoors.
Featuring a 1.4” titanium CD driver with 3” voice coil, 2” voice coil mid drivers and two 6” neodymium woofers, the HDL26-A’s performance is matched only by its additional feature set: RDNet capabilities, FiRPHASE technology and an impressive low weight of just 13kg. With a design brief aiming for ‘best in class’, the HDL26-A is ideal for the rental market and as a small installation system.
Also available is the HDL 35-AS, a high-performance 15” active flyable subwoofer- the perfect low-frequency companion to the HDL 26-A. Both the HDL26-A and the HDL 35-AS are compatible with the HDL rigging system and RDNet line array management integration.
HDL50-A 4K
Supercharged with a formidable 8000W peak power (4.0kW RMS), the HDL 50-A 4K is a higher-powered redesign of the HDL 50-A, RCF’s leading active 3-way line array module. Featuring two 2” drivers, four symmetrical 6.5” midrange units and 2 x 12” woofers, the 50-A 4K offers an increased SPL of up to 143dB, whilst maintaining the excellent sonic quality for which the original 50-A is known.
With onboard RDNet network capabilities and FiRPHASE technology, RCF is positioning the new HDL 50-A 4K to dominate the large-format line array range, just as the hugely popular HDL 30-A has become a worldwide standard for the medium-format.
The R&D department at RCF
worked meticulously on all elements of the design to achieve a remarkably low
weight of just 56 kg. Helping achieve this are the unit’s advanced neodymium
magnets and a ground-breaking new housing constructed from polypropylene and
lightweight plywood.
The power of RDNet 3.1 lends the HDL 50-A 4K further
advantage. This advanced software offers dedicated line array management,
enabling control over every aspect of the system- from individual transducers,
to bass shaping and even temperature and humidity control.
Owners of the original HDL 50-A can upgrade the system seamlessly to the new 4K
version by simply replacing the onboard amplifier.
