From the very first moment that Austrian Audio released their ground-breaking OC818 microphone, they have been followed by a whirlwind of musicians and producers, eager to try out one of the most successful new designs in microphone technology for themselves.
Whilst Austrian Audio has been garnering attention from all corners of the globe, they have also been making friends and connecting with like-minded, enthusiastic performers who have recently come together to share some of their passion through a joint project: an original song and music video.
The inspirational ‘WE ARE’ video is the culmination of a wide set of extremely talented musicians, all of whom are making use of Austrian Audio products in their workflow. Leading the charge is Divinity Roxx: a recording artist, composer, and musician most notable for her work as Bassist and Musical Director for The Beyoncé Experience. Divinity’s list of achievements includes countless television appearances alongside Beyoncé Knowles, and performing with Beyoncé at The White House for President Barack Obama.
A veritable plethora of internationally-recognised talent helped contribute to the performance and recording of ‘WE ARE’, including Kat Dyson (Cindy Lauper, Natalie Cole, Ziggy Marley), Mike Scott (Prince, Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, Rihanna) Adam Gontier (Three Days Grace), Polo Jones (Sting, Pavarotti, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen) and Thomas Lang (Falco, Peter Gabriel, Robbie Williams) to name just a few. Also present are the Austrian Audio staff, who make a delightful appearance as the chorus choir alongside Austrian Audio’s CEO Martin Seidl himself.
Mixed and mastered by the preeminent Adrian Hall (Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys, Depeche Mode, Linkin Park), the music video features each musician in their own workspace laying down their individual contributions, which were later combined into a cohesive performance video.
