In 2011, RCF released their original AYRA studio monitor series, which found considerable success within the compact studio monitor market. Not content with just offering a worthy competitor in a sector now saturated with both household and boutique brands alike, RCF have taken things up a notch with the release of AYRA PRO – a fresh new line of AYRA near-field studio monitors featuring 0° linear phase response.
The new range includes a 5” (PRO5), 6” (PRO6) and 8” (PRO8) version, as well as an optional companion subwoofer, THE PRO10SUB, all of which are equipped with a brand new component architecture.
The new series features high powered Class-D amplification (100W, 120W, 140W respectively, with the subwoofer clocking in at 300W) and onboard DSP which integrates RCF’s proprietary FiRPHASE technology. The FiRPHASE algorithm ensures 0° linear phase for time-aligned sound emissions across the entire spectrum, providing enhanced sonic detail, and a more accurate panorama of the stereo field. The AYRA PRO series is the first RCF studio monitor to offer FiRPHASE as standard, and the only monitor in existence that offers 0° linear phase at this build quality and price point.
In addition to professional and project studio use, the new AYRA PRO range is also perfectly at home in high-end AV setups, such as video editing suites, or even Hi-Fi systems- thanks to its low weight and compact footprint.
