NST audio are well known for bringing quality audiophile sound and processing to installers, and one their standout innovations is their remote software control. Their Venue Remote series of wall controllers has made it incredibly easy for installers and users to control NST Audio’s range of processors. Recently NST Audio demonstrated their latest innovative development at ISE 2024, the V-Remote app that runs on both iPhone and iPad. V-Remote is configured within D-Net similar to their Venue Remotes with all the configuration info stored within the system, not on the iPhone or iPad, making it easier to assign control to various people of your choosing. Here is what NST Audio are saying:
“We have supported both Windows and Mac users since D-Net was launched, and shortly after, iPad users, all of whom get the same D-Net experience.” explains Dan Cartman, MD of the company.
“However,” he continues, “we realise that in some circumstances, it’s not always useful or practical to pull out an iPad or connect a computer to adjust a system. This was why we created the Venue Remote series of wall controllers, to make life better for installers and users alike.”
“Our latest innovation sits somewhere between these two worlds – V-Remote is an app designed for iPhone and is configured within D-Net, just like the other Venue Remotes. Crucially, the configuration is stored within the audio system, not on the iPhone, so anyone can download the app and retrieve the remote control experience designed by the installer, given permissions of course!”
