NST Audio‘s DM88 incorporates not only the best quality audio conversion and DSP, but also new levels of flexibility for routing and processing. Featuring 16 x Dante, 8 x analogue and 8 x AES inputs, available to be matrixed to one of 16 processing channels, optimised for either general input processing or for more specialised output speaker processing. Specialised output processing includes 48dB/Oct high and low-pass filters, multiple EQ layers, FIR filtering, and a new 2-way mode limiter, designed for use with passive 2-way speaker boxes.
General input processing features multiple layers of parametric EQ with a library of selectable behaviors, 3 bands of Dynamic EQ, Compression, High-pass Filter as well as Delay and Phase Reverse.
By allowing any source to be directly selected at any output, and incorporating a three-level failover system, the DM88 can perform format conversion and break-in/break-out duties. This is in addition to the 16 channels of individual signal processing and routing.
NST Audio’s D-Net control software for PC, Mac and iPad enables complete control over Ethernet and Wi-Fi. The latest release of D-Net incorporates advanced features that unlock the capabilities of the DM88. These include speaker module libraries for fast configuration, as well as powerful grouping and linking control to work with EQ layers, levels and delays across multiple devices on the network.
The DM88 is also compatible with NST Audio’s VR1 & VR2 venue remotes and V-Remote iPhone remote app for venues.
