Following on from NST Audio’s popular VR1 Control Panel comes the VR2, a PoE touch-enabled wall panel designed for intuitive remote control over specific parameters of any NST Audio processor. Like its predecessor, the VR2 features a full colour LCD display and the ability to upload a custom screensaver logo, but goes even further with features including programmable side-bezel RGB lighting and choice of either vertical or horizontal mounting.

The VR2 is programmed using NST Audio’s D-Net software and can be setup to allow control of one or more processors connected to the same network as the wall panel. Once setup, the VR2 presents as a user-friendly interface allowing venue personnel to operate the device with no technical knowledge required.
The VR2 is available in three finishes of semi-matt aluminium: Silver anodized, Black anodized, or White anodized.
The VR2 features a real-time clock and calendar (with daylight savings time compensation). This can be used to trigger recurring memory recalls, such as resetting the system to known defaults every morning or controlling EQ or levels via preset recalls at various points in the day.
Multiple VR2 panels can be configured to operate in a single venue with different sets of control panes defined. VR2 panels can work alongside VR1 panels, offering seamless integration and can also be configured ‘offline’, with the configuration downloadable at the time of installation. It is also possible to set up different user authorization levels and protect each with a PIN code.

The VR2 allows multiple pages of custom remote access to the following parameters:
• Channel and matrix gains
• Routing and channel mutes
• Preset recall
• OEM IP commands (projectors etc.)
The VR2 allows all pages to be labelled by the install engineer, leaving venue staff with a clear and easy to use remote allowing them to adjust the configuration and volume of the sound system in multiple locations throughout the venue.
